On Sunday, October 23, 2022, we talked about a 40-day season of prayer, commencing October 24. If you were not able to attend worship and would like to sign the prayer pledge card (your commitment to pray), you can do so by clicking here. There are ten prayer petitions listed below. Many of you will pray one of these each day. You may of course pray all ten each day. The most important thing, regardless of when and how you pray these petitions, is that you are praying for New Hope.

And if you are praying and fasting, we have a brochure available on the topic of fasting that we can send you or you can pick up a copy on Sunday.

  1. That New Hope would be a church where there is God-pleasing unity. (John 17:22-23)
  2. That New Hope would be a church that is passionate about reaching people who are lost. (Matt. 28:18-20)
  3. That the members of New Hope are persevering constantly in prayer. (1 Thess. 5:17)
  4. That New Hope would be a community where we love each other as Jesus loved us. (John 15:12)
  5. That New Hope would be a church that believes God can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. (Eph. 4:20)
  6. That our local reputation would be one of integrity, compassion, and service to others. (1 Cor. 10:24)
  7. That New Hope would be a Bible-saturated church. (2 Tim. 3:16)
  8. That our Senior Pastor Search Committee (SPSC) would diligently seek the mind of Christ. (Col. 3:2)
  9. That our SPSC would do the hard work of prayer. (1 Thess. 5:7)
  10. That our SPSC members would grow in the grace of God. (2 Peter 3:18)
