Happy New Year!

2021 IS HERE!

Happy New Year!

Gina and I are so blessed to be a part of New Hope and to share our lives with you.  In many ways we will all look back on 2020 as a “challenging” year (to say the least!), but it’s also been a very blessed year.  We’ve all had changes and we’ve all had to adjust to some things that we never thought would happen, and yet, through it all, the Lord has been faithful and He has provided.  I’m reminded of Lamentations 3:23 that His love never changes and His mercy is new every morning.  God is still sovereign, He’s still in control and none of the changes or challenges of 2020 caught Him by surprise!  What a comfort to know that even when we don’t know what the future holds, we know, and trust the One who holds the future!  Looking forward to a happy, and supremely blessed, new year.

Yours in Christ’s Service,
Pastor Mike

Our Bible reading plan for 2021 is here and we've made a few updates to help you engage! You can CLICK HERE to see the entire plan and a message from Pastor Mike. It's no longer necessary to sign up to participate in the plan and everyone is welcome to join in as we read God's word together! Each month in the Enews, there will be a special video update from Pastor Mike highlighting each month's readings. We urge you to stay spiritually connected and grow in your faith by spending time in the Bible on a regular basis and participating in our worship services.

The Well begins meeting on campus again on January 13 from 10am-noon for an exciting new study with Jen Wilkin and the book of Hebrews. CLICK HERE to register, buy a book, and find more info.

CLICK HERE to register to give blood! In 2020, New Hope gave more units of blood than any other church in Lee County! Let's start 2021 strong and continue to love our neighbors well!!!!!!!

ELI, our church family database, went through an update several months ago. At that time, we let you know that you'd need to click a small box when you logged in, agreeing to the updated terms. Many of you did so at that time, but not everyone. If you've recently tried to access the ELI system and been unable to do so, please go ahead and click the small checkbox and your access to ELI will be restored if you experienced difficulties. Should you have any difficulties with ELI, please contact the church office at 239.274.1230.

Join us for our first sermon series of 2021:

"New Year, Old You?" beginning Sunday, January 3!

1. Purchase grape juice or wine
2. Purchase Bread or Baked Crackers
- Unleavened bread is the best expression of the "bread" element. Unleavened bread simply is bread baked without a rising agent (most large grocery stores stock unleavened bread), but you can select any bread of your choice.
3. Be Ready at Home with Your Elements
- Pastor Mike will direct you along with those who are gathered at the church through properly receiving communion. All you need to do is follow along online individually, as a family or with your group.

Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680. Don’t forget to check out our safety measures and plans for gathering again on campus, along with the service time details by clicking the SITUATION UPDATE button above!

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
