It's already a

FABULOUS START TO 2021!

Happy Friday Friends!

We kicked off our Wednesday night programming this week and had an amazing turnout! Over 200 people were here on campus enjoying everything from adult Bible study in the sanctuary to preschool dance parties, elementary games, Common Ground and studies for moms & dads! The education building was a high energy, joyful place to be as we begin 2021 learning and building community with one another!

If you didn't make it this week, be sure to make plans to be here next Wednesday at 6:30, it's a terrific opportunity for midweek encouragement and to strengthen relationships in our church family!

Join us on Saturday, January 16 from 10-11:30am in Room 206 for our monthly prayer gathering. You are welcome to come for any length of time and we'll gather in small, distanced groups to prayer for our nation, our church, and God's will to be done throughout the world.

Our 8am traditional style worship service is returning on Sunday, January 24. Providing an additional opportunity for traditional worship allows us to practice better physical distancing in the sanctuary. Childcare will be available for infants-Pre-K and this service will be a live, in person event only. We will not be broadcasting this service and will continue to broadcast our 9:30am and 11am services online.

Calling all moms with sons aged K-5th grade, it's time for the 2021 edition of the Amazing Team Challenge! This fun, outside event takes place on Sunday, January 31 from 2-4pm and you can register by CLICKING HERE. Moms and sons have a blast with lots of team challenges that may or may not be wet, messy and just a little gross! Make crazy memories with your son doing his favorite activities!

Our Bible reading plan for 2021 is here and we've made a few updates to help you engage! You can CLICK HERE to see the entire plan and a message from Pastor Mike. It's no longer necessary to sign up to participate in the plan and everyone is welcome to join in as we read God's word together! Each month in the Enews, there will be a special video update from Pastor Mike highlighting each month's readings. We urge you to stay spiritually connected and grow in your faith by spending time in the Bible on a regular basis and participating in our worship services.

Verity is a life affirming, faith based, non-profit organization and a mission partner of ours here at New Hope. They believe in and support the sanctity of life.  Their mission is to help women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy by offering counseling, medical referrals and family support. Currently, they are desperately in need of baby clothes sized newborn to 3 months.  You can drop off donations to the container in the sanctuary lobby throughout the month of January.

Jim Stephenson, Founding Pastor of Horizon Church in Greenville, SC, is bringing us the message this week at 9:30a & 11a. If you cannot join us on campus, be sure to join us online.

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680. Don’t forget to check out our safety measures and plans for gathering again on campus, along with the service time details by clicking the SITUATION UPDATE button above!

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
