Even in the little things,

Hey Church Family!

We hope you're having an excellent week and seeing God's hand in your day to day life! He is always with us, watching over us and even knows the number of hairs on our head{pretty mind blowing}!!! That's an awesome thing to think about if you haven't lately and a fabulous  thing to praise Him for, AMEN!

We're collecting another round of PB&J sandwiches for We Care on Thursday, August 6 by noon. Please drop off individually packaged sandwiches to the church and we'll transport them to We Care. Thanks for being proactive and recruiting help with our PB&J drives, it's been a tremendous blessing for many families right here in SWFL!

We're excited to share with you that Session met on Tuesday, July 28 and voted to move forward with re-opening more on campus ministries. Beginning Sunday, September 13, our Early Childhood programs will reopen for kids ages 2 thru Pre-K during both Sunday services. Our World Changers program for children in K-5 will be open during the contemporary service only. Because we need to follow CDC distancing guidelines, we'll need to designate more classrooms in the Education Building for children and will be unable to resume adult Sunday school classes at this time. More information about specific guidelines for families are coming soon!

As far as Wednesday evening programming this Fall, Common Ground, our ministry for students in 6th-12th grade, will not be meeting on Sunday mornings but will be meeting on Wednesday nights beginning September 16 at 6:30p. Common Ground will utilize the Education Building and we won't be hosting Extreme Team for elementary students or adult class options. There will be one adult class, offered in the sanctuary, each Wednesday evening beginning September 16 at 6:30p.

Session and staff have worked hard to balance out the space and time the many thriving ministries at New Hope are given on campus each week. They've taken into consideration CDC guidelines, the measures being taken by the Lee County School District and created a plan so all age groups can enjoy time on campus each week. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact one of the elders, Pastor Eddie or Pastor Mike.

We're taking communion this Sunday, August 2 and Pastor Eddie will bring us the message. You can worship on campus with us at 9am for a traditional service or 11am for the contemporary one and we'll continue to provide our services online.

Session and staff have researched the best and safest ways we can begin to meet together and all the details can be found by clicking the SITUATION UPDATE button below. With respect to guidelines from the CDC, we are monitoring our local COVID-19 numbers and if changes to our re-opening plan are necessary, we’ll adjust. Updates will be posted on Facebook and our website should any of our plans change. Initially, we are only restarting on campus worship services with no separate programming for early childhood, elementary or student ministry. Families are encouraged to worship with their children in our sanctuary that has been set up with physical distancing protocols.

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Eddie (239.450.3331) or Pastor Mike (813.368.1680). Don’t forget to check out our safety measures and plans for gathering again on campus, along with the service time details by clicking the SITUATION UPDATE button below!

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
