Dear Church Family,

Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of the horrific events of 9/11/2001. We pause for prayer to remember the families and friends of those who lost their lives. We pray for the orphans who've grown into young adults, for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, and for the many affected even today by the events of that one Tuesday morning. We pray for those that defend our freedom, for wisdom for our leaders, and for peace for our country and our world. Amen.

Ladies, make plans to join us for one of our wonderful women's groups! There are groups that meet during the daytime as well as evenings and we want YOU to participate! Whether you prefer book studies, discussion based groups, video teachings or focusing on topical questions, we've got a place for YOU! Click here to discover all the options, times, and gathering spots.

New Hope is excited to host the Going Beyond Simulcast with Priscilla Shirer on Saturday, September 25 from 10am-5pm. This dynamic event features Biblical teaching, inspiring worship and an opportunity for you to fellowship with other women from New Hope as well as all around SWFL. All women are urged to attend and invite a guest. Registration is only $20 and includes the simulcast event, an afternoon snack, and giveaways. Lunch is not included, but you are welcome to bring one along or leave campus during the lunch break.  Click here for more information and registration!

  • Are you someone interested in impacting a person's life in a meaningful way?
  • Are you looking for an opportunity to serve God by extending compassion and empathy to others?
  • Would you like to be part of caring and supporting someone with the love of Christ through a challenging season of life?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, please make plans to join us for an informational meeting about our Stephen Ministry program. On Monday, September 13 at 7pm, delicious desserts will be served and you can learn more about what it means to care for one another with the Stephen Ministry program. If you have any questions, please reach out to Meg LaRue at 239.826.2508.

It's that time again!

The Lee Health Blood Mobile will be at New Hope on Sunday, September 19, from 8am until 1pm. With continuing COVID concerns, we are still asking that you pre-register by clicking here for your time slot.  Please note that you will need to wear a face mask and the location of the BloodMobile will be in the west (Plantation Rd side) parking lot of the church.  Pre-registration is required in order to keep people from bunching up around the registration area. Thank you for continuing to share the gift of life with our community, what a wonderful way to continue living out the gospel together!

Our monthly evening prayer gathering is taking place on Thursday, August 26 from 7-8pm in room 207. Come out and join in this opportunity for corporate prayer as we seek the Lord for His will concerning our church and our lives and lift up prayer requests from within and beyond our congregation.

The Student Ministry Search Team has been quite diligent over the Summer and continue to interview and prayerfully search for our next Director. However, it is evident that a candidate will not be in place in time for an effective Fall program schedule. In light of that, Jackie Elliot has been reassigned to serve as Interim Director of Student Ministry. She has been in this role over the Summer and is uniquely gifted, positioned, and passionate to have great impact in this role.  Dena Campbell is also stepping up to serve as part time administrator as well as "Assistant Director" through this season. The youth council and volunteers are also coming alongside them with extra time and energy during this transitional period.

Jackie’s duties in Family Ministries have been reassigned to Michelle Myers, who previously held that position, and her Connect Group role to Angel Dobson. This gives Jackie the ability to devote herself to this new, albeit temporary, position.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Pastor Mike. We're excited to see all the Lord has planned in our Student Ministry program this Fall and looking to our Wednesday night kickoff on September 8 at 6:30pm!

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship on campus at 9:30am and 11am or online, as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680.

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
