Happy Friday!

The time to celebrate has come! We're full of excitement and anticipation as we look forward to gathering as one church family at 10am THIS SUNDAY, November 7! Children, students, communion, choir, and special music are all part of our worship service as we lift up the name of Jesus and thank Him for His goodness and provision during our service. Make plans to stay for lunch and plenty of family fun on the lawn following the service. It's going to be an amazing day!

The Women of New Hope are hosting a potluck and service night on Tuesday, November 9 at 6pm.
Women of all ages are invited to make a dish to bring or pick up something great to share and let’s gather for friendship and service! We will be assembling Blessing Bags (hygiene kits) for the homeless men and women served by We Care Outreach Ministry in Room 212 of the Education Building. Questions? Please contact Signe Pagel.

"Last month was pastor appreciation month - and I was flooded with so many wonderfully encouraging cards!  Gina and I feel deeply loved and so very blessed to be a part of this wonderful congregation and the work that the Lord is doing here.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

In Christ,
Pastor Mike

You can find all the information by clicking here and watch this month's video update above!

We're ready for a fabulous evening under the stars! Be sure to join us on Friday, November 12 for Outdoor Family Movie Night!

Please take some time to prayerfully consider who you might nominate to fill the roles of elder and deacon for our church. If you would like to nominate an individual for elder or deacon, please click here to fill out the form. The form for nominations will be available until Sunday, November 14. David Carpenter is the chair of the nominating committee and you can contact him at decarp44@protonmail.com with any questions.

Do you want to share the love of God and the Good News of Jesus Christ with a child? It is easy to do – just fill a shoebox with some small gifts and return the it to church by Sunday, November 14. Shoeboxes will be available beginning Sunday, October 24.

However, if you are attending church online or prefer not to shop, just click this link and you can build a box online for $25 (which includes the processing donation of $9). These shoebox gifts go to closed countries.

Here are a few things to remember as you pack your shoebox:

  • Put the Boy/Girl label on the box.
  • Don’t put liquids, gels, candy, or toothpaste in the box.
  • The brochure includes a postage-paid envelope so you can mail your donation.
  • Put a rubber band around the box. Please do not tape the box closed!
  • Remember to pray for the child who will receive your gift!

Take a stroll down memory lane and watch the story of New Hope unfold! This video is from our new campus dedication ceremony in 2016 and seemed appropriate to share as we celebrate all the Lord has done over the last twelve years in the life of New Hope!

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is holding their annual expo and silent auction on Tuesday, November 16 here at New Hope. This event spotlights moms who are small business owners and proceeds from the auction benefit New Hope's mission partner, We Care. All are welcome to attend, invite a neighbor and get started on your holiday shopping! Questions, please contact Pam Poland.

1. Purchase grape juice or wine
2. Purchase Bread or Baked Crackers
- Unleavened bread is the best expression of the "bread" element. Unleavened bread simply is bread baked without a rising agent (most large grocery stores stock unleavened bread), but you can select any bread of your choice.
3. Be Ready at Home with Your Elements
- Pastor Mike will direct you along with those who are gathered at the church through properly receiving communion. All you need to do is follow along online individually, as a family or with your group.

Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship on campus at 9:30am and 11am or online, as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680.

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
