Happy Friday, Church Family!

We're approaching Thanksgiving week and there is so much to be grateful for around New Hope! Full programming in person, continued digital experiences, a holiday calendar chock-full of events, and...have you heard? We're also debt free!!! God is moving and doing so many wonderful things in the life of our church.

Ben Ball, our Director of Traditional music, has recorded a new CD featuring our organ and piano. This CD is of beloved Christmas carols and is a free gift to you this Christmas season.  It will be available following the worship service on Sunday, November 21. Please feel free to take as many as you would like to share with others.  If you are not currently back on campus with us at this time, please contact the church office at 239.274.1230 and we will mail you a copy.

We're working on our Family Christmas Eve service and all children in K-5th grades are invited to audition for a speaking part on Wednesday, November 17 from 5:30-6:25pm. Please click here to complete the sign up form and find all the details.

Please help make the last blood drive of 2021 a success! Every unit of lifesaving blood helps 2 recipients right here in SWFL and you can contribute to this effort this Sunday, November 21 between 8am-1pm here on campus. You can register to donate blood by clicking here. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Come, You Thankful People, Come!

Join us on Wednesday, November 24th at 6:30p for a Community Thanksgiving Eve Worship service, as we join to give thanks to God for all He has done.  Pastor Paul de Jong, the senior pastor of First Presbyterian (EPC) in downtown Fort Myers, will open God's Word for us that evening. The service will be led by organ, choir, soloists & brass. Childcare for infants-PreK is available.

We're excited to kick off December with our annual Jingle Jam event on Wednesday, December 1 from 6-8pm. This FREE event features dinner, fun holiday activities, family and Santa pictures, plus so much more! This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to a great event at New Hope!!!!

Hey Parents of 6th-12th graders, it's time to register for our Annual Suncoast Retreat!

We're heading to Lake Placid Conference Center from January 14-17 and meeting up with four other youth groups from around SWFL for an exciting time of crazy games, devotions, great worship, and relevant messages. Spots are limited so be sure to register soon! The cost is $165 and scholarships are available by contacting Jackie Elliott. Click here to register! It's gonna be epic!

We'll have a congregational meeting on Sunday, December 5 at 10:45am to vote on the proposed slate of deacons, elders, and trustee put forth by the nominating committee. The nominees for deacon are: Judy Clark, Paul Gorny, Steve McKinnon, and Kris Newlin. The nominations for elder are: Doug Keno, Sandy Knipe, Mark Myers, Ken Walker, and Rodney Woosley, with Dan Miller nominated for trustee.

Special thanks to the nominating committee: David Carpenter, Al Cason, Candy Engelman, Jim Glatz, Dick Grosse, Linda Hart, and Mike Scales for their diligent work.

Looking for a way to bring extra JOY to a child this holiday season? We've got an excellent opportunity for you! There is a tree in the lobby with tags listing the Christmas wishes of several children from the Immokalee area. If you take a tag, please purchase the desired items and return them, fully wrapped, by December 19 to the church. If you have additional questions, please contact Jim Mayer.

We've got a December to Remember planned! You can find out all the details by visiting here on our website. Make plans now to invite your neighbors, family, and friends to New Hope this Holiday Season!

We'll be sharing more pictures from our debt free celebration in the coming weeks! Be sure to read all of your Enews and you just might catch a glimpse of someone you know!

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship on campus at 9:30am and 11am or online, as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680.

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
