Grateful to

FINISH 2020 STRONG!

Hey Church Family!

We hope you enjoyed a marvelous Thanksgiving with loved ones and are enjoying the beginning of the holiday season. 2020 has had it's up and downs but we're grateful for the chance to finish the year strong with opportunities to serve others and celebrate Christ's coming. You can CLICK HERE to see all the holiday fun we're planning this December.

The Christmas party big enough for the whole family is back in a whole new way this year! Jingle Jam will be held entirely outside on the church lawn with inflatables, crafts, 9 square, cookies & cocoa for all! We'll also have food trucks so you can purchase dinner and skip a night in the kitchen! Santa and the family photo booths will be here so wear your favorite Christmas shirts to capture lasting memories with loved ones and come expecting a night of F-U-N!

We have an amazing opportunity to partner with Pick Up The Ball, a local organization that partners with young adults to mentor them and teach life skills. Recently, Pick Up The Ball acquired a new building they hope to convert to a residential boarding house and we are planning to help spruce up the outside of the building. People of all ages are needed to help with cleaning and brush clearing around the outside of the building. Students in 6th grade and up are welcome to help with parental supervision. Contact Jim Mayer for more information.

We're returning to our 9:30 & 11 service times THIS SUNDAY, November 29. The following adult classes are meeting at 9:30a: Parent Network & Restoration. At 11a, the Bereans and Life in the Word classes are meeting for adults. Early childhood & elementary ministries are fully functioning during the 9:30 & 11 services. Common Ground for students in 6th-12th grade is meeting at 9:30.

We are pleased to welcome four new members this month to our church family and you can learn more about them by CLICKING HERE.

Our next congregational meeting is on Sunday, December 6 following the 9:30 service. The purpose of this meeting will be to elect the slate of elders and deacons for the class of 2023. More information about the candidates is coming soon.

Our last PB&J collection for 2020 is on Thursday, December 3 and donations should be dropped off by noon. These individually packaged sandwiches have been a GIANT blessing to the team at We Care and they greatly appreciate our contributions. Going forward, we'll be collecting the first Thursday of the month so the first collection of 2021 will be Jan. 7.

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680.
