The holidays are here and we have

A GIFT FOR YOU!

Hey Church Family!

It felt like December this week and things are bustling all around campus! Amidst the chaos that often accompanies this season, we urge you to pause and consider the greatest gift ever given, the birth of our Lord. It's not always easy to maintain the focus on Christ in our everyday lives but intentionally centering our thoughts on Him is well worth the effort. Be on the lookout for God's presence throughout the course of your day.

We have another wonderful opportunity to serve our community and bless families this Christmas season! We're partnering with We Care Outreach and collecting Christmas hams. You have two options: first, you may drop off a ham to the church by Thursday, 12/17 at noon or if you'd prefer to make a financial donation towards this project, you may do so by CLICKING HERE. The suggested donation is $15 per ham and we'd love to help feed all the families We Care serves! Let's continue to live out the gospel together and bless our neighbors!

Make plans to join us on Sunday, December 20, at 3pm for a Christmas Concert presented by professional recording artist Eirinn Abu.  Eirinn is a Grammy Award winning saxophonist, world renowned Christian artist, and the founder of Music for Life Ministries. The concert is free and open to the public, but a freewill offering will be collected.

We are pleased to welcome four new members this month to our church family and you can learn more about them by CLICKING HERE.

The slate of deacons, elders & trustee that were presented at the congregational meeting on Dec. 6 were all approved. If you'd like to learn more about this wonderful group of leaders, please CLICK HERE to get to know them better.

Invite your friends, family & neighbors to spend Christmas Eve with us! We have four service options to better accommodate distancing and plenty of room for all. There will be candlelight and childcare for those in Pre-K and younger at all services. For those unable to join us in person, all services will also be online.

Great BIG thanks to all the people who came out to represent Jesus & New Hope by helping out at Pick Up the Ball's work day! We had 25 people serve by clearing brush, pressure washing and moving debris to help in the beginning stages of the building rehab project. We appreciate your sacrifice and willingness to serve our community and live out the gospel together!

It's gift giving time and we have a spectacular one for you this year! New Hope is giving you the gift of beautiful music in the form of a brand new CD, Hymns of Triumph, performed by Ben Ball. You may pick up a free copy when you're here on campus, they'll be on the tables in the back of the lobby beginning Sunday, December 13. If you're not able to make it on Sundays, you are welcome to stop by during the week and pick one up if you'd like. We'll keep the CDs available while supplies last. Merry Christmas!

We urge you to stay spiritually connected with your church family and join us for weekly Sunday worship as well as checking out the videos from our staff and pastors on the Experience New Hope channel. We’re continuing to pray and if you have concerns about our plans to meet in person or have a prayer need, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Mike at mike@newhopefortmyers.org or 813.368.1680. Don’t forget to check out our safety measures and plans for gathering again on campus, along with the service time details by clicking the SITUATION UPDATE button above!

With Love,
Your New Hope Team
