Tyler and Brittany have been serving God among an unreached people group in rural West Africa, doing Bible translation along with economic development by partnering with farmers to alleviate poverty through their Demonstration Farm. They believe this combination of “Word and deed” has the power to transform lives. The Demonstration Farm has two focuses: grafted cashews as a cash crop and tropical fruit trees for local nutrition. They are excited to use their network of farmers to distribute Scripture in both written and oral forms.
Due to limited medical facilities in West Africa, they came to the States for the birth of their second child, Joanna (born June 20). Both mother and baby are doing well and the family is planning to return to the field late in 2023. They would appreciate your prayers for:
Tyler’s Dad who has been diagnosed with liver cancer and needs a matched donor
Wisdom about their return to the field in view of this situation
Ongoing need for several helpers in their work, both to care for the children and to assist with the work of the farm
