Christian Seder Meal

We are excited to welcome Greg Savitt as he leads us through the experience of a Christian Seder on Wednesday, March 24, at 6pm. Greg comes to us from Rock of Israel Ministries in Fort Lauderdale, FL, was born Jewish and raised as a Conservative Jew in the Chicago area. After receiving Jesus as his Savior, Greg became so passionate about the Messiahship of Jesus that he left his career as a CPA to share the message of Jesus with the Jewish community and enjoys opportunities to share with Christians as well.

The purpose of this event is to help us connect with the deep symbolism of the Passover feast, still celebrated by many Jewish families today.  The Passover meal was the "feast" that Jesus shared with His apostles on the night He was betrayed (Luke 22). From the vantage of history and fulfilled prophecies, we will celebrate the Passover Seder in all its fullness- not looking to a coming passover lamb, but celebrating the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the World (John 1:29)! Participating in a Seder provides an opportunity to better understand the roots of our Christian faith as well as provide deeper context for events of Holy Week.

The menu will be:

Matzo Balls in Chicken Soup

Roasted Chicken

Yams & Carrot Tzimmes

Vegetable Side Dish

Sponge Cake w/Strawberries & Whipped Cream
