Dear Church Family,
Our Elders, staff and I believe the right course of action is to suspend all on-campus activities until further notice. We are cooperating with local health and government officials to monitor the situation in Lee County and our staff has begun working on a reopening plan for when the time is right. While we are excited to return to worshipping together under one roof, we also want to be wise and do our part to keep people as safe as possible.
Our mission and focus of "Living out the gospel together" remains the same here at New Hope despite worldly circumstances. Our staff has tirelessly worked to bring a quality digital experience into homes across our community as well as serve practical needs via supply donations to medical professionals and food to our local mission partner, We Care. Ministry has not and will not stop as we continue to play our part in advancing God's Kingdom.
Please know that if you have a pastoral or prayer need, you can contact me, Eddie (email@example.com or cell phone 239.450.3331), Pastor Mike (firstname.lastname@example.org or cell phone 813.368.1680), or any of our staff by email. Please be assured that while your staff is following the guidelines of the CDC, including social distancing, we are working diligently. I urge each of you to use your phone and other social media to check on and encourage those in our church family.
Here are some instructions for joining us for church online this week:
- On Sundays at 9:30am (traditional) and 11am (contemporary), we will have our worship services available. Starting at 9:30am or 11am on Sunday, you can watch either service from home on your computer or phone by clicking here.
- You can also access the livestream by clicking the “Online Worship & Sermon Video Feeds” banner on our church website homepage.
We continue to believe this is a great opportunity for each one of us to be the Church as we seek to live out the gospel together.
Great peace in the Lord, Eddie
