K-5th grade ministry and early childhood ministry are available during our Sunday morning 9:30am traditional service and 11am contemporary service.
What is a world changer? A world changer is someone who knows that the little things they do can make a difference to others around them. A world changer is able to put others first. He trusts that God’s Word is wiser than his own ideas. A world changer seeks to live like Jesus every day.
World Changers know that we can’t do much of this by our own power. God has to change us before we can make a difference in our world. We can do our part–by growing in love for Him, learning His Word, and obeying Jesus–we become world changers.
We invite you to join our children’s ministry, World Changers, on Sundays and Wednesdays. Older elementary students have the opportunity to join the New Hope church family through an annual confirmation class. Every summer, we put on a high energy Vacation Bible School and offer a retreat to Camp KidJam.
FAMILIES
Families take many different forms but one thing we know, what happens in the family is more important than what happens at church when it comes to your child’s faith! While a christian church may have about 40 hours a year with the average child, the average parent has 3,000 hours a year with their child–valuable time when you can shape your child’s’ everyday faith. Why is that significant? Let’s be clear. Nothing you give your child will ever be more important than leading them to a relationship with Jesus. It will impact what they value in life, the decisions they make, and their eternity.
Our ministry is designed with you in mind, to support you as you grow your child’s faith and offer you resources. Take advantage of the monthly virtue packs to talk with your kids, memorize key verses, and encourage your child’s GodTime. We also recommend this great parent resource.
LEADERS
Elementary kids are very fortunate to have an excellent team of devoted leaders who serve with the kids or behind the scenes. Leaders will tell you that they serve not for what they get out of it, but because it is a privilege to teach kids about Jesus. Even so, our team gets a lot of joy when we see a child take a big step of faith! It doesn’t get much better than that!
If you are interested in serving in some capacity, there are various opportunities available to suit one’s time and talents. Leaders who supervise children are screened through New Hope’s Child Protection Process.
