For many years, Colonial, a Title 1 elementary school around the corner, and New Hope have had a strong partnership. Many families and students of the school have been impacted through the generous donations of school supplies, mentoring, literacy help, and volunteering for events. Several New Hope members recently kicked off a new season of Good News Club, which meets at Colonial weekly to share the Gospel with students in fun and interactive ways. Are you wondering how you might get involved in New Hope’s partnership? We are looking for individuals able to commit as a weekly reading buddy with a first, second, or third grade student. Would you prayerfully consider joining our team to boost literacy among the younger students attending the school, many of whom come from families where English was not the first language.
