STUDENT MINISTRY LOCAL MISSION TRIP

Join us tomorrow (Saturday, February 14) at 10am in Room 212 for breakfast, worship, and evangelism training from City Takers SWFL! We will then depart campus to visit strategic neighborhoods where we will distribute groceries to people in need and use that as an opportunity to start conversations about the gospel. Parents are welcome to join us! We will return to campus between 1:00-1:30pm and will have a 10-20 minute debrief conversation in Room 212 to share stories, reflect, and pray.

KIDS’ MINISTRY UPDATE

February is all about “Sharing the Love of Jesus” on Sundays for New Hope Kids! We’re helping them see that there’s nothing more awesome they can share with others than the love, and the adventure, of a life with Jesus. On Wednesday nights, we were excited to kick off our new study on The Beatitudes, guiding kids to understand what it looks like to live with hearts shaped by God’s kingdom. We also wrapped up January with our exciting annual Dad & Kids Camping Trip this past weekend, with 50 brave participants who made great memories together despite the frigid temperatures!

Women Serving in Singlehood will be on Saturday, March 14 from 11am–1:30pm. This gathering is for women 18 and up who are single, divorced, or widowed to come enjoy lunch, connect with other women, and hear an encouraging message from our guest speaker, Shari McMinn. This is an opportunity to build friendships, be refreshed, and be reminded of God’s purpose for your life. The cost is $10 per person and we’d love for you to invite a friend to join you.

DONATION DRIVE: FIG LEAF BOUTIQUE

Into the Jordan Ministries exists to bring Christ-centered healing and restoration to individuals and families impacted by human trafficking, sexual exploitation, addiction, and abuse. We provide trauma-informed, faith-based care that meets people where they are and walks with them toward lasting freedom. Through safe community spaces, spiritual care, support groups, and one-on-one guidance, survivors are not only protected—they are restored to dignity, identity, and hope in Christ. Every program is designed to interrupt cycles of trauma and replace them with stability, belonging, and purpose.

At the heart of our outreach is The Fig Leaf Boutique & Drop-In Center, a sacred space where immediate needs are met with compassion and respect. Here, individuals and families receive clothing, hygiene items, food support, prayer, crisis care, and referrals to counseling, housing, and recovery services.

Please find a bag in the Lobby at church on Sunday, fill it with gently-used clothing and unopened hygiene items, and return it to the church by February 22. We also encourage you to visit the boutique and shop to support the mission of Into The Jordan. The boutique is open Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4pm.

Our Mission Engage week was a blast and gave New Hope meaningful opportunities to connect with local and global mission partners. From the dinner to Sunday morning with City Takers, we were reminded of the great purpose God has called us to in making disciples – to the ends of the earth. Our first ever Serve Day was a highlight, with more than 60 people serving as the hands and feet of Jesus throughout Fort Myers neighborhoods. Don’t forget to pick up a Mission Partner Prayer Guide from the lobby and join us in praying for God’s continued work through our mission partners.
