New Hope eNews - September 5, 2025

Dear Church Family,

This Sunday we're launching a new series called 4FM that explores what it truly means to love God and love our neighbors. God designed His church to be a caring community—one that not only nurtures its own members but also serves the broader community where He has placed us.

The love that pleases God is a love that hungers and thirsts after Him above all else, while simultaneously caring for those around us. Loving our neighbors begins with loving God. We love because He first loved us, and God enables this love to overflow from our hearts into the lives of our neighbors and the world around us. Our love for neighbors becomes a tangible expression of our love for God.

All around us, people have been exploited and left helpless. Many look down on "the least and the last," overlooking their needs entirely. But the Gospel calls us to a radically different perspective. In a world that exploits and uses people, Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Our faith is meant to go public.

Jesus has called us to serve and care for the widow, the orphan, the prisoner, the lonely, the weak, the despised, and the rejected. God has designed our community (4FM) for selfless service to others. Throughout September, we'll learn how to truly be God's Church in the world. He wants us to be salt and light—shining brightly so all the world can see that He is Lord. He calls us to actively seek the welfare of our community through both word and deed.

He has made us for such a time as this so join us this Sunday to learn how God has made us 4FM.
