Pumpkin spice and everything nice!
Whatever season of life you’re in, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Join us Thursday, October 22 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary for fall treats, a creative activity, and time to connect with women of all ages.
Jenna Adams, Jackie and Jerry Elliott's daughter, will share how God is stretching her faith through a season of uncertainty as her family prepares to adopt and unexpectedly welcome a second child. Her story will offer encouragement to trust God’s presence in every season, including those we didn’t plan.
Whether you’re new to New Hope or have been here for years, come take a break, meet someone new, and celebrate the gift of being sisters in Christ.
Come for the treats.
Stay for the connection.
Leave with some new friends!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month!
We are so thankful for Pastor Sheldon and the many ways he faithfully leads, teaches, encourages, and cares for our New Hope family. Throughout the month of October, we invite you to take a moment to let him know how much his ministry means to you.
A simple note, card, word of encouragement, or prayer is a wonderful way to show your appreciation and remind him that the many ways he serves, both seen and unseen, do not go unnoticed.
During the month of October, we are collecting cleaning supplies to bless the ministry of We Care Outreach. Between now and October 25, please bring in any of the following cleaning items: dish soap, all-purpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant wipes, glass cleaner, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Wear your favorite team gear and join us
for Tailgate Sunday on November 1!
Come for worship, then stay for a BBQ lunch with all the fixins and an afternoon packed with fun for every age. We’ll have live music, axe throwing, archery, cornhole, inflatables, face painting, a preschool play area, and more!
This is the perfect Sunday to invite a friend, neighbor, or family member to join you for worship and lunch. Whether you cheer for football, baseball, hockey, soccer, or something else entirely, represent your favorite team and sport by wearing your fan gear to church that morning!
Lunch is $10 per person, $20 per couple, or a maximum of $25 per family, including you, your spouse, and your children. College students are $5.
Please register in advance to help us plan well and make sure there’s plenty of BBQ for everyone!

KIDS MINISTRY UPDATE!
On Sundays, our children have been discovering the truth that God is our safe place. Through the stories of Israel capturing Jericho, God’s protection of His followers in the blazing furnace, and Jesus calming the storm, our kids are learning that we can trust God in every circumstance. Whether facing a mighty wall, a fiery furnace, or a frightening storm, God is faithful and worthy of our trust!
Wednesday Family Nights have taken us on an exciting journey through RightNow Media’s God’s Kids curriculum. We’ve been taking a closer look at the wonderful world God created, from the tiniest details to the biggest wonders, and soon we’ll shift our focus to exploring the attributes of God and discovering more about who He is.
Of course, learning about God wouldn’t be complete without a little kid-sized chaos! Our evenings have included games like Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos and creative challenges such as building an ark out of extra-large blocks. Let’s just say that a room full of energetic children, oversized building materials, and enthusiastic teamwork can make for some memorable evenings!
We are grateful for the opportunity to help the next generation know God, trust His Word, and grow in faith. Thank you to our faithful volunteers and church family for loving these children and investing in their lives. We are blessed to be growing together!
INTO THE JORDAN MINISTRIES
Into the Jordan Ministries brings Christ-centered healing and restoration to individuals and families impacted by human trafficking, sexual exploitation, addiction, and abuse. Through trauma-informed, faith-based care, survivors are supported as they move toward freedom, dignity, stability, and hope in Christ.
At the heart of the ministry is The Fig Leaf Boutique & Drop-In Center, meeting practical needs by providing clothing, hygiene items, food, prayer, crisis care, and connections to counseling, housing, and recovery resources. The Fig Leaf is a fun place to shop for gently used secondhand clothing items, and supports the ministry!
