EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY
In October, the Early Childhood kiddos are learning that God is always with them through Bible stories such as the one about Daniel and the lions. When Daniel was thrown into the lions' den by the king, God was with him! God sent an angel to close the lions’ mouths and protect him. God was always with Daniel, and God is always with you, too! October's Memory Verse: "God is with you wherever you go." – Joshua 1:9
Lee Memorial’s Blood Drive will once again be at New Hope on Sunday, November 3, from 8am-1pm. All blood donated will stay within Lee County and give life to those in our community. Click here to register your time slot!
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT:
TIFFANY MYERS
You may recognize Tiffany Myers as an elder of the church or from her appearances in some of our announcement videos. She is also a leader in the Wednesday Night Women’s Bible Study, MOMtourage.
Tiffany's journey with faith began when she discovered the love of Jesus as a little girl. She fondly remembers writing about this love for Him in the opening pages of her Bible. Despite these early expressions of faith, Tiffany's childhood was marked by challenges. She experienced the deep rejection that came from being abandoned by her biological father. Yet, in this difficult time, God brought a man into her life who chose to become her Dad. “He chose to adopt me when he didn't have to. He loved me and wanted me to be his daughter legally,” Tiffany reflects.
During her sophomore year of college, Tiffany's relationship with God deepened significantly. She chose to fully commit her life to the Lord through Young Life ministry, experiencing the profound peace of His presence. Through the earthly love of her adoptive father, Tiffany found a powerful parallel to God’s eternal adoption. She shares that the greatest impact on her faith is God's adoption of her into His kingdom. “It is eternal and nothing will change that. I'm His and He is mine! Praise Jesus!” Her story is a testament to the transformative power of divine love and the enduring strength and hope it provides.
