I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful cards and encouraging words I received during Pastor Appreciation Month. Your messages reminded me of God's faithfulness and His many blessings. Your thoughtfulness and support make all the difference. Your kind words came at just the right time and served as a beautiful reminder of why I was called to this ministry.
The time you spent writing those cards, sharing your thoughts, and offering your encouragement speaks volumes about the kind and caring family we have here. It is a joy and privilege to minister among you and to witness God's work in your lives.
Thank you for your continued prayers, your patience, and your partnership in the Gospel. I am blessed to serve as your pastor, and I look forward to what God has in store for us in the months and years ahead.
Sincerely,
Don’t forget to “Fall Back”!
Remember to set your clocks BACK an hour on Saturday night and then enjoy your extra hour of sleep!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
New Hope is participating in OCC this year in a new way…as a central drop-off location for boxes! We need people to pray, pack, record numbers, and greet during our collection hours November 17-24. If you have interest in serving this year with OCC for New Hope, please contact Rachel Frey at rachel@newhopefortmyers.org. Also, please join us in praying for large collections this season and for the glory of God’s name to reach many far and new places!
Please take a box from the Lobby at the church, fill it, and return it to New Hope November 9 or 16. If you are unable to shop, you may build a shoebox online, which will reach a hard-to-access community in a country whose borders make it difficult for the shoeboxes to be allowed in. Click here to build a shoebox online at newhopefortmyers.org/occ.
J & K in Egypt
J & K transitioned to Egypt from Ethiopia last year. After an encouraging summer with family and partner visits in the Midwest, J & K resumed life and work in the bustling city of Cairo-the largest of the Arab world. Though much of their time is spent in language learning - Egyptian Arabic - J & K are part of a large and diverse group of expatriates who are reaching Muslims for Jesus. Together, they are advancing the gospel through varied outreach efforts. They run kingdom-focused businesses that create jobs and build community connections, engage youth through education and vocational training, and provide compassionate healthcare and trauma healing. Their team also strengthens the local church through discipleship and leadership development, while exploring creative ministries like music and visual storytelling to share Christ’s message in culturally relevant ways. J continues occasional visits to their old home in Ethiopia to advise and encourage local church leaders. J & K rejoice in the ongoing support of New Hope, “We thank God for you all and appreciate your prayers, encouragement and support so much! Please pray for wisdom and grace as we resume Arabic learning and also continue to seek God's will and leading for ministry for both ourselves and the rest of our team.”
