Dear Lord,
We thank You for the brave men and women who have served our country with dedication and courage. We honor their sacrifices and recognize the challenges they have faced in defending our freedom.
We ask for Your blessings upon our veterans and their families. Surround them with peace and strength. May we honor their sacrifices and express our gratitude through our actions and words. Inspire us to support and uplift them, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
In gratitude and love, we pray. Amen.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT:
ROB WATKINS
Rob Watkins’ journey at New Hope has been truly transformative. Initially watching online from home, Rob and his family felt led to experience New Hope firsthand. Discovering his cousin Tiffany was leading the praise team added a personal connection. Within their first visits, they received warm hospitality. “Over three weeks, we felt truly welcomed and remembered,” Rob reflects, illustrating the essence of being embraced by the loving community of New Hope.
Joining the praise team was pivotal for Rob, connecting him deeply with fellow worship enthusiasts and marking his entry into active church life. Along with his wife, Amy, he began attending a Sunday school class, where they forged genuine friendships rooted in shared faith.
Eager to connect further, Rob expanded his involvement by joining the safety team. He and his wife have been here for a few years now and Rob is serving as an elder, deepening his commitment to nurturing the community that embraced him.
“Throughout this journey, I have enjoyed rich fellowship with members who genuinely care for one another, praying and supporting each other in our faith,” Rob shares. His story echoes Jesus's emphasis on the church body's importance, as highlighted in Matthew 16:18, where Jesus says to Peter, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church.”
“New Hope is more than a church; it’s a family that nurtures spiritual growth and fosters lifelong friendships. As I engage with this loving community, I find my faith deepening in ways I never anticipated. I am excited to continue growing, serving, and honoring the call to be part of something greater than myself.”
All women are invited to our annual Tables of Christmas celebration on Friday, December 6, from 6-8:30pm (doors open at 5:30pm). The cost is $25 per person and pre-registration is required. This will be a reflective time of fellowship and special music while we enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Olive Garden with pastas (gluten-free choices available), salad, bread sticks, dessert, and tea, water, or coffee. There will be no childcare for this event. Click here to register and pay.
