The Ladies' Book Club is entering its fourth year. This group of Christian women explores "worldly" books from a Christian perspective, delving into various genres of literature. In June, they discussed Honor, a novel set in India, and for July, they're focusing on The Mango Tree, which takes place in Fort Myers with a Filipino mother as the central character. Discussions are led by different members each time.
In August, they plan to read Small Mercies by Dennis Lehane, followed by A Fever in the Heartland in September. They meet year-round on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in Room 210, and welcome all ladies who have read the selected book.
