KIDS' MINISTRY UPDATE
This season has been full of growth and joy in our Kids Ministry! During Advent, we were excited to give out 40 Advent activity packets to families, equipping parents and kids to worship, reflect, and celebrate Christ together at home throughout the season. Looking ahead, we’re eager to begin a new Wednesday night study focused on The Beatitudes, helping our kids learn what it truly means to live out Jesus’ upside-down kingdom in everyday life. In January, our Sunday lessons will center on the life of Jesus, inviting children to walk through His story and see His love, obedience, and compassion in action. Our theme, “Growing stronger in faith every day!” reminds us that just like practicing a skill helps us improve, practicing our faith helps it grow. When children follow Jesus and live out what they hear and learn, the Holy Spirit is at work – shaping their hearts, strengthening their faith, and guiding them closer to Christ each day.
STUDENT MINISTRY UPDATES
CG Wednesday Nights Are Back!
We kicked off our first Common Ground of the year by playing games, having group discussions, and spending time praying in small groups that God would lead us into deeper community and spiritual relationships. We ask that you would join us in praying for these students. We want to see them ask questions about their faith, share their burdens with one another, and encourage each other to grow in their understanding of God’s grace and love. All middle and high school students are invited to join us in Room 212 Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am and Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm.
RIVER HANG - POSTPONED!
Due to a big festival happening down the road, our River Hang event is being postponed. We are working on a replacement event and details for that will be sent out once they are finalized.
MIDDLE SCHOOL LOCK-IN RECAP
Thank you so much for praying for our Middle School Lock-In this past weekend! We had an absolute blast – most kids barely slept a wink! Students worshiped together and learned how God has created them with purpose through small groups and personal Bible study. We also tie-dyed t-shirts, tackled a midnight team challenge (and got shocked when we were soaked by the sprinklers!), enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit, and played games late into the night. Dinner and breakfast were cooked on our new Blackstone! While we’re a little tired, it was completely worth it!

Beginning at 6:30pm, you’ll enjoy dinner and then engage in an age-appropriate breakout session (K-5th grade, 6th-12th grade, Adults). Childcare available for ages 5 and under. This free event is open to the SWFL community, but you must click here to register. We hope to see you there!
