This Sunday Pastor Sheldon will speak on "Selfless-Serving" as we look at Mark 10:35-45 while continuing our "Contagious Faith" series. Join us at our 9:30am traditional service or our 11am contemporary service!
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to Him and said to Him, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask of You.” And He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?” And they said to Him, “Grant us to sit, one at Your right hand and one at Your left, in Your glory.” Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?” And they said to Him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized, but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.” And when the ten heard it, they began to be indignant at James and John. 42 And Jesus called them to Him and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
We will have a limited number of Mark Mittelberg's book Contagious Faith available for purchase in the Lobby this Sunday, March 16. This is the book on which our current sermon series is based. You can click here for the payment link.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: ANITA ZEGERS
Anita Zegers is a native of Southwest Florida. From a young age, Anita learned the importance of serving in the church by observing her devoted parents. By the time she reached middle school, she was already following in their footsteps by contributing to preschool and elementary programs.
Anita has known Jesus as her Savior for as long as she can remember. However, her journey has had its challenges, testing her faith during difficult times such as infertility, pregnancy loss, and family hardships. Through these trials, Anita has come to deeply understand the meaning of the phrase, "God is good, all the time," showcasing how God works all things together for His good and glory.
Currently, Anita serves as the Shepherding Coordinator of the Children's Ministry. Despite her formal education and previous career as a labor and delivery nurse, she finds immense joy in teaching children about Jesus.
Anita is married to Brian and homeschools their four children, whose ages range from 17 to 4. In her free time, Anita enjoys vacationing with her husband, spending time with friends, playing games, attending concerts with her kids, and reading.
