This weekend we will gather with grateful hearts for the gift of fathers. We thank You for bestowing upon them the wisdom, strength, and love that guide our lives.
We lift up fathers from every generation—grandfathers, fathers, uncles, and all men who have served as role models and pillars in our lives. May You bless them for their unwavering dedication and loving sacrifices.
Grant strength and encouragement to new fathers as they embark on the rewarding path of fatherhood. May they nurture and inspire the next generation with grace and compassion.
We also remember those longing to be fathers and those who have suffered loss. May they find comfort and hope in Your presence.
With heartfelt gratitude, we offer this prayer in Your holy name. Amen.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: DICK GROSSE
One week after graduating from Purdue, Dick married the love of his life, K.C. Over 61 years, they've been blessed with two daughters, Lara and Holly, their husbands, and two grandsons. Their journey began in Ohio, including stops in Washington DC and Connecticut, before settling in Florida.
Soon after their wedding, they became active members of a Presbyterian church in Ohio and later in Connecticut. After retiring as a General Motors manufacturing executive in 2000, they moved to a condo in Heritage Palms, Fort Myers, embracing retirement through golfing, boating, travel, and community engagement.
In 2003, they joined Covenant Presbyterian Church. He became part of a Men’s Bible study group, served as an usher captain, and later became a Charter member of New Hope in 2008. He and K.C. have both been elders, chaired the active Evangelism, Membership, Fellowship Council and participated in the new campus' capital campaign and has been a trustee for the past 6 years. His understanding of Jesus Christ's teachings has deepened through various Bible study classes and the teachings of New Hope pastors.
Dick says, “KC and I toast each other every night and thank our Lord Jesus for our wonderful journey together and another day in paradise.” He remains excited about New Hope's future and what God has planned.
